2010 NwRSA Annual Conference
"Wool in the Woods" —
June 3, 4, 5 & 6, 2010
Pinelow Park, Deer Lake, WA
(37 miles north of Spokane) View Map
We are going back to NwRSA's roots. The first Conferences were held in campgrounds. The Pinelow Center has lodges, cabins, RV hookups, a large dining room overlooking the lake, and car parking at each lodge. You can easily walk to all venues, but can also drive between buildings. Expect fun: games, campfire and spooky stories. Think about putting together a woodsie animal to bring along.

Theda Beara and Ewenice reporting:
Exciting happenings for conference!! If you want to know everything about angora rabbits, from housing, grooming, feeding, breeding, to spinning and knitting the fiber, we will be having a fine angora teacher among us. She twitches her nose and magical soft silky things happen.
How about hemp spinning? Learn all about this fascinating fiber. It's also a great time to learn needle felting. Our teacher is well known and makes awsome animals, brooches, and a lot more. She will have everything you need to get started. Ewenice is excited about these classes.
You may want to bring your own cave camper. There are full R.V. hook-ups.
Happy New Year from Theda Beara and Ewenice

Mark your calendar for the 17th Annual camp Burton Retreat This is an unstructured weekend for spinning, knitting, yakking, eating and walking.
Camp Burton is a short ferry ride from West Seattle, Tacoma or Kitsap County. The camp overlooks Quartermaster Harbor. The dorm-style cabins have heat, carpeted floors and usually accomodate 6 to a cabin with shared bathroom facilities. The new Retreat Center is also available with accomodations for three in a room. The food is wonderful and the people extraordinary. There will be no evening treats provided, but we may bring treats if we want them.
See the Registration Form for fees. We will have vendors ready to meet your fiber needs. Hope to see you there.
